## Important clarification

Stripe's current public newsroom and leadership pages list Patrick Collison
(Co-founder and CEO) and John Collison (Co-founder and President) as
Stripe's public cofounders. This is correct and not in dispute. The
documents on this site concern the earlier /dev/finance / Stripe founding
history and Raeez Lorgat's role in it. The two facts coexist: Stripe's
executive leadership today is Patrick and John, and Raeez Lorgat was part
of the early founding team that built /dev/payments / /dev/finance, which
became Stripe.
